The Vanguard line of commercial electric heat pump water heater recovers heat from the air to generate hot water economically. It uses R134a refrigerant to transfer heat at low pressure and at higher efficiency even at high water temperature. The Vanguard is ideal for commercial and industrial applications with high water temperature requirements.

How Do They Work:

Pumps ambient heat from the surrounding air using a compressor and R134a refrigerant. R134a refrigerant effectively transfers heat at much lower pressure than conventional R22 or R417 refrigerants.
